This song was totally written, recorded, arranged and mixed by myself. It's in F minor and the bpm is 100. I really wanted it to have a modern feel while still heavily using acoustic instruments (e-basses and guitars, percussions,...).
The blend of both synths/FX and these acoustic instruments is crucial to me.
I want the sound to be huge (emphasis on choruses and stereo image variations between sections...) and "pretty clean" (just like Vulfpeck's songs), that is to say that I want a bit of analogue/distorsion grit to give the song an organic feel whilst not being too obvious/perceived by the listener.

Additional technical information
Everything was recorded and mixed in my acoustically treated studio. It was mixed with a Universal Audio SSL Bus Compressor on the master with roughly 4db of compression, but that plugin was disabled when I exported all stems.
There is a bit (0 to 1db max) of volume automation on the master to highlights choruses and the bridge (compared to the verses and pre-choruses).
I think the mix is pretty solid/usable but my main grieves against it would be that it could be a bit more bright/open in the high end and it sounds a bit too clean/flat for the moment. I'd like to give elements a bit more glue as well even though I think the whole piece sounds pretty cohesive.
